I’m annoyed! How do I report antisocial behaviour?
Unfortunately, on our estate there have always been episodes of difficult behaviour that upset some of us. On occasions we have had drug consumption and dealing, excessively loud motorbikes, littering, doorknocking, damage to cars and property.
- Quickly warning or communicating with other residents via our Fitzharry’s Manor Estate Facebook group:
- Telling David Busby, our local Neighbourhood Watch Co-ordinator (see section below)
- Involving the Abingdon Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) via their official email: AbingdonTownNHPT@thamesvalley.pnn.police.uk. Our PCSOs are Susannah Morley, Clare Atkins and Alison Blood.
- Traffic problems can be notified to Sergeant Mark Ponting: mark.ponting@thamesvalley.pnn.police.uk

Neighbourhood Watch
Neighbourhood Watch is a scheme that aims to:
- Reduce / prevent local crime and disorder
- Reduce fear of crime
- Address issues relating to antisocial behaviour
- Create safer neighbourhoods
- Build community spirit and cohesion
- Reassure members of the public
- Enhance partnership working with other community groups
- Assist in the detection and apprehension of criminals through members providing information to the police
- Improve quality of life and the local environment.
There is an active local group on the estate coordinated by one of our residents. Neighbourhood alerts are sometimes put on our Fitzharry’s Manor Estate Facebook group.
You can send the coordinator a message via the website, where there is more detailed information on the scheme and how to become a member.
