Fitzharry’s Manor Estate Through Time

We invite you to an Abingdon Museum Friends talk in the basement of the Museum covering the history of Fitzharry’s Manor estate, including the original manor house, post-war years when the ‘atomics’ arrived, and life on the estate in recent years. Our Speaker Mike Evans was previously Head of Archives at Historic England before his busy retirement during which he has enjoyed continuing to research local history and taken an active part in our local community. The talk will be approximately 40 minutes in length and starts promptly at 19:00hrs. Non-Members of the Museum Friends are welcome but are requested to make a small voluntary donation of £2 – £5 if they wish to attend.
